Our contribution to the environment
Nowadays, sustainability has become a central issue that affects us all .Every day, enormous amounts of CO2 are released into our environment and tons of waste are produced. Millions of people work in degrading and unhealthy conditions for wages that are insufficient to cover their basic needs.
Animals are tortured and killed for testing purposes and for the processing of their bodies.
Instead of developing real solutions, large corporations often engage in "greenwashing" to improve their image and increase sales—true sustainability is supposedly too expensive . But this is a fallacy!
True sustainability is affordable when we act together . Only then can products be offered at fair and reasonable prices. When you buy sustainably , demand increases, and with it, inevitably, supply. Conservative products are slowly disappearing from our shelves.
Each of us can contribute to improving the situation.
Start by shopping more consciously . Learn about certifications and seals, research the companies behind the products, and only buy what you really need. By acting together, we can make a positive difference and create a better future for future generations.

Together we plant trees!
After every order with a goods value of over €450 (net), we plant a (future) tree together with TreePlantingProjects ! Twice a year, trees are planted in Germany by TreePlantingProjects and volunteers.
The trees are then planted in a sustainable growth envelope, protected from wild animals and accompanying vegetation . Furthermore, the trees are guaranteed not to be felled and are allowed to grow to maturity in a protected environment. We think this is a fantastic contribution to our environment!

With every purchase from us, you support the East Frisian community. For purchases up to €450 (net), we donate 5% of the purchase to charitable organizations and institutions in the region.

Only the best for our finishes!
Our finishes are high-quality and durable . Our customers appreciate this. Our environment thanks us too, because we use premium yarn made from 100% recycled raw materials for our embroidery . The yarn is Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, and is REACH compliant . Our premium flex and flock films are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. We also use OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified inks for transfer and sublimation printing .
The way to us and to our customers
The transport of the items is just as important as the manufacturing process. This is why we work with DHL and GLS . Our partners ship the items to us and our customers in a climate-neutral manner . By providing additional funding for CO²-binding projects, we offset more CO² per shipment than is released during transport. This makes our shipping CO²-positive. When sending packages to our customers, we make sure to produce as little waste as possible. For this reason, we use wood wool and paper ( Blue Angel and FSC certified) to pad our goods. The wood wool can also be recycled, composted , or reused (e.g. for keeping pets or as a moisture reservoir in flower pots). Our adhesive tape is usually made of paper . We naturally also ensure that any cardboard boxes we put into circulation are recycled.
Financing of various projects
For every order, we calculate the CO² emissions for transport. Based on this, we purchase carbon removal certificates . Furthermore, we support several sustainable technology projects with each shipment. These projects aim to remove/reduce carbon from the atmosphere and guarantee carbon storage for at least 1,000 years . We also support solutions such as ocean-based CO² removal and direct air capture (air filtration) through financing.
Paperless working
Because we have digitized our company processes, we don't use paper for internal processes . For invoices and delivery notes, we use Blue Angel , FSC , and EU Ecolabel (European Ecolabel) certified paper .
Even the little things matter!
For our in-house production , we use exclusively FSC -certified paper for hangtags and labels , as well as the world's first 100% biodegradable tacking thread (degradable within one year) to attach our hangtags to our products. Our own work is performed exclusively at our German locations . Here, we pay above minimum wage . Textile production takes place in European countries , ensuring fair production .

Here's how it works: For every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated shipping emissions. Based on these estimates, a portion of our proceeds goes to companies vetted by Carbon Direct's scientists. These companies use the money to remove as much carbon from the atmosphere as our shipments caused. Any additional funds go toward the further development of various carbon removal technologies.

Heirloom
Heirloom's technology accelerates the rate at which naturally occurring minerals capture CO₂, instead of using energy-intensive fans to draw in the air.
Remora
Remora captures CO₂ from the exhaust pipes of semi-trailer trucks while driving and stores it for the long term.
Charm
Charm captures CO₂ from plant waste, converts it into a stable, carbon-rich liquid, and stores it safely deep underground—out of reach of wildfires and soil erosion.
