screen printing

For our screen-printed transfers, the design is first printed in reverse on a special transfer paper or transfer film coated with a layer of screen-printing ink and a hot-melt adhesive. The transfer paper or transfer film is then pressed onto the desired surface using a heat press, applying pressure and heat, bonding the ink and adhesive to the material. The transfer paper or transfer film is then peeled off, leaving the design to adhere to the surface.

Screen printing transfers have many advantages over other printing methods, such as:

- They enable high color brilliance, luminosity and opacity, even on dark or colored textiles.

- They are durable, washable and scratch-resistant as the color penetrates deep into the material.

- They are flexible and versatile as they can be applied to different materials such as cotton, polyester, nylon, leather or plastic.

- They are cost-effective because they do not require expensive printing machines or templates, just a heat press and transfer paper or transfer foil.

- Plastisol transfers: These are the classic and universal screen printing transfers that can contain up to five printing colors, including customized color values according to Pantone or HKS. They are suitable for simple to multi-color motifs, even with photorealistic halftone prints.

- Sublistop transfers : These are special screen-printed transfers that contain a blocking ink that prevents the color of the printed fabric from bleeding into the transfer. They are ideal for polyester or other synthetic fabrics that tend to bleed, such as red or black fabrics.
